iPhone and iPad
AyaSeerah on your iPhone or iPad
There is no App Store version yet. You can still put AyaSeerah on your Home Screen with Safari, and it opens like an app. Nothing to download, and it is free.
How to add it
The pictures are simple drawings to show where to tap, not real screenshots. Safari may look slightly different on your device.
- 1Open ayaseerah.com in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
- 2Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up). On iPhone it is at the bottom of the screen; on iPad it is at the top.
- 3Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”, then tap Add.
- 4Open AyaSeerah from your Home Screen. It opens full-screen, without the browser bar.
If something doesn't work, and other questions
I can't find “Add to Home Screen”.
Make sure you are in Safari (or Chrome on iPhone), not inside another app's built-in browser such as Instagram's. Tap Share, then scroll down the list. If it is still missing, tap Edit Actions at the bottom and add it.
The Share button isn't there.
Scroll up a little or tap the bottom of the screen so Safari's toolbar shows again. On iPad, Share is at the top right, next to the address bar.
I opened a link from Instagram or WhatsApp.
Those apps open pages in their own browser. Tap the menu (often ⋯ or the compass) and choose Open in Safari, then follow the steps.
My progress from Safari isn't in the Home Screen app.
iPhone and iPad keep Home Screen apps separate from Safari, so each has its own saved progress. To bring it across, pair the two with a code or sign in on the Keep your place page.
How do I get the latest version?
There is nothing to update. The app opens the current site each time you are online.
Does it work without internet?
Surahs you download for offline study open without a connection. Teach Me, audio you have not played before and other online features need internet.
How do I remove it?
Press and hold the AyaSeerah tile on your Home Screen, then choose Remove App or Delete Bookmark. This also removes the progress saved in that Home Screen app, unless you synced it.
Is there an App Store version?
Not yet. The Home Screen version is the same AyaSeerah, free, and needs no download.
In Chrome on iPhone, tap the Share button in the address bar and choose “Add to Home Screen” as well. On Android, see the Android app.
