How does offline storage work?
AyaSeerah uses your browser's built-in storage (Cache Storage and localStorage) to keep the pages you have opened and the surahs you choose to download. Once a page is saved, you can open it again without an internet connection. Downloaded surahs, cheatsheets, and practice tests are stored locally on your device and remain available offline.
What can I download for offline use?
You can download individual surahs, cheatsheets, mock exams, and practice tests. Go to the Offline Pack page and select the content you want. The canonical Arabic text and translations are fetched from the Quran.com API when online and cached for offline reading.
Where are my du'ās saved?
Du'ās you write on the About page are saved only in your device's browser storage. They are never sent to any server, and we cannot read them. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, they will not transfer automatically.
What data does AyaSeerah collect?
AyaSeerah does not collect personal data. We do not use accounts, analytics, or tracking cookies. Study progress, notes, test scores, du'ās, and classroom import codes are stored locally in your browser. The only external calls are to the Quran.com API and the open hadith API to fetch text and translations.
How can I delete my stored data?
You can remove individual items — du'ās, notes, test scores, and downloaded surahs — from their respective pages. To clear everything at once, use your browser's option to clear site data and cookies for ayaseerah.com.
