Step back
The big pictureThe whole Qur'an, and the life it came down into, in one view
Surah by surah it is easy to lose the whole. This view unboxes the Qurʾān into six great subjects. Each one is a short story you can read in a minute — where it begins, how it grows, and where it ends. Nothing new is asserted here: every subject is traced from the same authored, cited themes you meet in the cross-surah threads.
Who Allah is
الربوبية والألوهيةThreads that establish something about Allah Himself — His dominion, His names, His care — before anything is asked of the reader.
The test and its outcome
الابتلاء والحسابThreads that treat this life as a graded trial: what is being tested, and where the result is read out.
The state of the heart
أحوال القلبThreads about inward condition — grief, fear, whispering, steadiness — rather than outward action.
The world and what it holds
الدنياThreads that read wealth, the earth and its adornment as material given for a purpose and withdrawn at will.
Speech as the response
الدعاء والذكرThreads where the answer the Qurʾān prescribes is something said: duʿāʾ, refuge sought aloud, the favour spoken of, mā shāʾa Allāh.
Argument from what is seen
الاستدلالThreads that reason from the created order to a conclusion the reader is expected to draw.
Use it for recall: once you can tell each story from Ḥirāʾ to the farewell, you hold the shape of the whole Qurʾān — and every surah you study afterwards has somewhere to land.
