The big pictureThe whole Qur'an, and the life it came down into, in one view
Surah by surah it is easy to lose the whole. This view unboxes the Qurʾān into six great subjects. Each one is a short story you can read in a minute — where it begins, how it grows, and where it ends. Nothing new is asserted here: every subject is traced from the same authored, cited themes you meet in the cross-surah threads.
Speech as the response
الدعاء والذكر
The Qurʾān treats words as action. Duʿāʾ, dhikr, seeking refuge, speaking truth and saying the right thing at the right moment all appear early and often. This theme grows from personal prayer into the speech of a community — commanding good, forbidding wrong, and keeping promises.
Use it for recall: once you can tell each story from Ḥirāʾ to the farewell, you hold the shape of the whole Qurʾān — and every surah you study afterwards has somewhere to land.
