Terms of Use

AyaSeerah is provided free of charge. There is no account, no subscription, no advertising, and nothing to buy. The only thing ever asked of you is your du'ā and, if you wish, your feedback. You may use the app personally, in a study circle, in a classroom, or in a masjid without seeking permission.

The Qur'anic text and translations are loaded from the Quran.com API, and narrations are cited to their collections so you can verify them. Themes, reasons of revelation, root-word notes, takeaways, and quiz items are study material compiled from classical tafsīr and seerah works.

This app is a learning tool. It is not a substitute for a qualified teacher and it does not issue religious rulings. For matters of ʿaqīdah, fiqh, or personal religious guidance, return to trustworthy scholars. Where the app and a scholar differ, follow the scholar.

Every effort is made to keep content grounded in authentic sources, but human error is possible. If you find a mistake in a translation, an attribution, a date, or a quiz answer, please report it and it will be corrected. Corrections are treated as the highest-priority work on this app.

Content is offered "as is", without warranty of any kind. Use of the app is at your own discretion.

Please do not:

• post anything disrespectful, misleading, sectarian, or unrelated to study on the public du'ā and reflection wall;
• attribute statements to the Qur'an, the Prophet ﷺ, or any scholar without a sound source;
• attempt to overload, scrape at scale, disrupt, or automate abusive use of the app or the third-party APIs it relies on;
• republish the app's material in a way that implies scholarly certification.

Anything posted publicly is reviewed before it appears, and may be removed or edited at the maintainer's discretion.

The words of the Qur'an and the recorded sunnah belong to no one but are a trust upon all of us. You are welcome to quote, print, screenshot, and share AyaSeerah's study material for teaching and personal benefit. Please do not sell it, place it behind a paywall, or present it as your own work. A mention of the app is appreciated but not required.

The app depends on third-party services (Quran.com and hadith APIs) and on your device's storage. It may be unavailable, incomplete, or interrupted at times. Study progress is stored in your browser, so clearing site data, switching devices, or browser limits can remove it. Please do not treat the app as your only record of memorisation progress.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including lost study data or reliance on its content.

These terms may be updated as the app grows. The date at the top will change when they do. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
