The big pictureThe whole Qur'an, and the life it came down into, in one view
Surah by surah it is easy to lose the whole. This view unboxes the Qurʾān into six great subjects. Each one is a short story you can read in a minute — where it begins, how it grows, and where it ends. Nothing new is asserted here: every subject is traced from the same authored, cited themes you meet in the cross-surah threads.
The test and its outcome
الابتلاء والحساب
From the earliest passages the Qurʾān makes this life a test with a result. Death is not the end; every deed is weighed. The Makkan years answer the doubter with scenes of the Hour and the reckoning. The Madinan years show what the test looks like in daily life — honesty in trade, keeping agreements, standing for justice — because a believer lives as if the accounting is real.
Use it for recall: once you can tell each story from Ḥirāʾ to the farewell, you hold the shape of the whole Qurʾān — and every surah you study afterwards has somewhere to land.
