Banū Hāshim are boycotted in the valley for roughly three years; Khadījah رضي الله عنها and Abū Ṭālib die soon after it ends. Under this pressure Quraysh send to the rabbis of Yathrib for questions to test him ﷺ — and al-Kahf answers with four stories about surviving trial with your faith intact.
