His ﷺ own uncle, who answered the first public call at Ṣafā with 'May you perish — is this why you gathered us?'

Where they appear

1. Going public — and the persecution

   Rejected the call at Ṣafā and followed him ﷺ from market to market to contradict him.

2. The boycott and the Year of Sorrow

   Sided with Quraysh against his own clan during the boycott.

How it ended

Died shortly after Badr; a whole sūrah, al-Masad, was revealed about him and his wife.
