Oneness and permanence
Al-Wājid ٱلْوَاجِد
The Finder who lacks nothing: everything He wills is present to Him, and nothing escapes Him.
Reported in the list of ninety-nine · root و ج د
Why Allah uses this name
Listed in the enumeration; the attribute is the Qurʾān's repeated statement that He is free of need while everything else needs Him.
Take this with you
You bring Him nothing He lacks. You ask because you need, not because He gains.
'O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy' (35:15).
Qurʾān 35:15; the name itself listed in Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3507 (the enumeration of the ninety-nine names)
Where it appears in the Qur'an
This name is reported in the list of ninety-nine, but the Qur'an says it as a verb or a phrase rather than as this single word, so there is no word-for-word occurrence to list. The reasoning above cites the āyāt it is taken from.
