Where they appear

1. The Cave of Ḥirāʾ — the first revelation

   Believed as a boy of about ten, in the first days of the call.

2. Going public — and the persecution

   Stood with him at the gathering of Banū Hāshim when no one else answered.

3. The Hijrah — migration to Madinah

   Slept in the Prophet's ﷺ bed on the night of the Hijrah while the assassins waited outside, then returned the trusts people had left with him ﷺ.

4. Conquest, completion and farewell

   Carried the banner at Khaybar; left in charge of Madinah during Tabūk.

How it ended

Became the fourth caliph; killed in 40 AH.
