One Lord, one dominion
Who is actually in control, and what follows from the answer?
The Qurʾān's first argument. Sovereignty is named, then the consequences are drawn: worship, fear, reliance and refuge all belong to whoever holds the dominion.
“Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion, and He is over all things competent.”Qurʾān 67:1
