Justice and judgement
Al-Ḥasīb ٱلْحَسِيب
The Reckoner who is also the Sufficient: He takes account, and He is enough.
4 āyāt · 3 sūrahs · root ح س ب
Why Allah uses this name
Al-Saʿdī keeps both meanings — the One who suffices His servants, and the One who calls them to account — which is why it appears where trusts and rights are handed over.
Take this with you
Handle other people's rights as one whose accounting is already scheduled.
'And sufficient is Allah as Accountant ()' (4:6).
