All du'ās

When money is tight and rizq feels far

Du'ā for debt and provision

There is a du'ā the Prophet ﷺ taught for being weighed down by debt, and there is istighfār — asking forgiveness — which Nūḥ عليه السلام told his people would bring rain, wealth and gardens.

2 du'ās, with their sources

When debt is heavy

اللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

Allāhumma-kfinī bi-ḥalālika ʿan ḥarāmik, wa aghninī bi-faḍlika ʿamman siwāk

O Allah, let what You have allowed be enough for me so I never need what You forbade, and make me free of everyone but You by Your bounty.

When money is tight, or you are tempted by a wrong way to get it. · Sunan at-Tirmidhī 3563

Asking forgiveness, for rain and provision

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ

Astaghfirullāh

I ask Allah to forgive me. Nūḥ عليه السلام told his people to ask forgiveness and Allah promised rain, wealth, children and gardens in return (Qur'an 71:10–12).

Keep it on your tongue through the day. · Qur'an 71:10–12; Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1518

How and when to say them

The first is said when money is tight or when a wrong way of getting it is tempting. Istighfār is meant to stay on the tongue through the day; the counter can keep the total.

Every du'ā above can be heard aloud. Where the words are Qur'an, the Arabic comes from the Quran.com API and is shown exactly as served, with a link into the muṣḥaf.
